HomeMade Dog Toys

Homemade dog toys are a life-saver!!  I have two 80 pound dogs running around my place.  I go through dog toys like you would not believe!  I got the handle on the homemade dog treats, and now it is time to learn how to make homemade dog toys!

It really has been frustrating to me that good dog toys are at least $5 each, and even those are torn apart within hours.  Then there was the suggestion, just let them play with an old tire, they love it!  Well, they do not love it.  Maybe my dogs are too high and mighty for an old tire, or perhaps they are not smart enough to figure out how to entertain themselves with it, I am not sure.  I guess it is possible that they are holding out for the easy homemade dog biscuits.

Anyway, I had been wanting to learn about making dog toys and dog chews myself.  I have been working on various ways to save money, and this is one of them at my house.  I stumbled upon this book, and even though I did not want to spend money on how to make dog toys, I am super, duper glad I did.  In fact, if you want to check it out, look here.

It goes through the more fun stuff like how to make a homemade dog ball and rope toy, how to make homemade ball snacks, homemade blue jean rope, make your own peanut butter bone, plus more, but I can’t remember them all right now.  There are other homemade dog toy ideas, and healthy dog treats that you can make at home, too.  I think you will enjoy it, you should check it out the next page.
